The Tour de France starts this weekend, so what better time to talk a little about cycling.
Jan Ullrich is a successful professional cyclist and the first German to win the Tour de France, in 1997. He was one of those names that you regularly saw during Lance Armstrong's heyday. He is currently retired and his career ended with (as seems to be the case with many cyclists recently) some doping charges.

You might recall (if you watched the Tour) when he went off the road one time:
There's also a fairly long highlight video of him...riding a bike, if you're into that sort of thing [after the jump]
I don't think I would ever be the person to put together a six minute highlight film of a cyclist. ROIDS!#$!#$!
ReplyDeleteI think there was something like a 14 minute one, too. I went with the shorter
DeleteI like how there's no panic as he's going off the road. He just looks ahead and gracefully rides off the side of the road.
ReplyDeleteHe probably thought the ROIDS would help him fly out of the ravine like ET.
ReplyDeleteYou're really talking about 'roids a lot. It's like you are...raging about them.
DeleteI really like that highlight where he is peddling really hard. That was awesome. And I would agree with axe....full of roids. These are not simply human.
ReplyDeleteMy protein powder has some side effects. LAYOFF!@#$!@$!@$
ReplyDeleteCongrats Erik the Red! Rickshow salutes you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should wait for my oddly pre-planned and appropriate post later today.
