Other Rick Show?

It's no secret that I watch Spike's Bar Rescue.  I like to see the concepts they come up with and make sure of the drinks they add to the menu.   The most recent episode featured a place called Brix, owned by Rick Reich, in Sunset Beach, California.  There's a good amount of Rickage already just based on that intro sentence.

Then, not two minutes into the show, I see this:

...and I was all "Oh, HELL NO".  

 Turns out, it wasn't really the Rick Show.  Just a guy with a failing bar.

What I'll never understand is why most of the "Rick Show"s on YouTube are so utterly unwatchable. Like most of the other ones I've shown in the past, and like this one:

Great, and now I just went back to watch Big Rick do his dancing with that cup to cheer me up and the video doesn't exist anymore.  Some days I really wonder if it's worth it.

The Rick and Jack Show

Another "other" Rick Show?  Sure!

Today we meet Rick and Jack, who have managed to create a very reasonable opening sequence and who sit in front of a green screen, yet don't ever use it to put themselves in exotic locales or the weather map or anything.

Back again with our internet search for other Rick Shows.   Parts of this one are easily the most un-family friendly video I've ever posted.  Not really "safe for work" due to language, as well.   It's a shame, because it's a video made on Xtranormal.   You may be familiar with the videos that you can make there.

I really don't know how to explain this one at all.  Watch it, skip around, whatever you want.  Luckily(?)  this guy created a compilation of his videos a couple month ago, so I don't have to choose which video to post.

So...back to other Rick Shows, and back to YouTube.   Here, some kids make a trailer for a fake "The Rick Show 3" movie.   Sigh.  Kids nowadays.

Is this "good stuff" like they say? I'm  not so sure.

Next in our series of other Rick Shows on the internet, we find YouTube videos entitled "The Rick Show! 2#" and  "The rick show! this is the actual first one!" whose credits list someone named "Amy" and "Delfina."

Here's the deal.  You probably don't want to watch these in their entirety.  I watched the first 30 seconds and decided it was unbearable for me, so I just skipped around enough to make sure I wanted to post it.   You might want to skip around as well, but I'd say you should watch a bit of it to get a feel for what the whole thing is like.

I promised you, dear reader, that I would find you some The Rick Shows for your enjoyment.  Through this process you can see both what this ricking world is coming to and why we need Rick Show as much as ever.

In this Youtube video, our hosts (Rick Fields and Rick Woods, apparently) provide what I guess is practice for their morning "drive-time" radio show in 20 years?

I've been hesitant to give much play to other Rick Shows, but I should probably give them their due. After all, we live in a Rick-filled world.  Since I usually use "Rick Show" without the "The" and they seem to by-and-large prefer to use the "The," we'll let those others go by "The Rick Show" if they want. 

 The Rick Show is a band that hails from Beaumont, Texas.   If you're ever in Beaumont on the 3rd Friday of the month, it seems they'll probably be at The Logon Cafe.  I gather that they show up at MacKenzie's Pub fairly regularly, too. 

(True story: This might be the first time I've ever typed Beaumont in my life, and now I'm an expert on the nightlife there.)

One more thing:  These are the guys that have the top search result for both "The Rick Show" and "Rick Show" on the major search engines.  I both admire them and despise them for it.
