Richard Matheson

Here we go again with the RIPs.  Author and screenwriter Richard Matheson has died at age 87.  He wrote some episodes of The Twilight Zone as well as I Am Legend (made into Will Smith movie) and What Dreams May Come, among others.

Rickey Medlocke

Rickey Medlocke is a musician best known for playing in Lynyrd Skynyrd and Blackfoot.

Richard Scarry

The Iowa City Public Library's Facebook page just tipped me off that Richard Scarry's birthday is today.  He would have been 94 had death not intervened.   Happy Birthday to him.
