Rick Dees

I remember listening to Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 when I was younger (Dees Sleaze, anyone?).  That's probably where most people know him from.  However, I also happen to recall having seen Rick Dees' name somewhere earlier.  I'm pretty sure there was a copy of Disco Duck in my house.  If you've never heard of it, it's um..well, it's a novelty song.  Here, figure out how to describe it for yourself:



I also must note here that Rick Dees has the first hit on many search engines if you simply type in "rick."  His rick.com site is where you can keep track what's going on in entertainment (and there are recipes, too)

    That may be one of the more disturbing music videos I have ever seen. But I do appreciate his Apollo Creed type of outfit. It did make me anticipate a much more patriotic song for some reason...

    I wonder if Casey Kasem loathes Rick Dees for the fact he has a blogworthy name? A Casey blog would not be nearly as groundbreaking. A casey of wood, c'mon.
