(ed. note: Pat"rick"? Yep. I'm going there)
Patrick Stewart is knighted. Don't forget that. He's classically trained. He has done a lot of Shakespeare. Then he did a lot of Star Trek. Then you know him from the X-Men movies. He's also done a lot of voice work because, well, his voice is pretty darn good. He also stopped by to help the Count out:

I hope this blog lasts a long time and the only way for that to happen is to cast the rick net very wide. Wider than a rick of wood for sure.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm still waiting for someone that has a Rick-like name that also embodies a large body of water. Hmmmm....Ricki Ocean? No, that doesn't seem right. Ricki River? No, that doesn't seem right, either.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny you should mention that, Garris. I commented recently that there are female Ricks out there as well. We women are largely under-represented on the Rick Show blog.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, EtR, your Rick-woman has been on my list for some time. I just never decided what to do with her. And Jae, I will remind you of the next part of our conversation, where I told you that she (EtR's reference) was the only one I could think of, and you said it was the only one you could think of, too. It's not easy finding worthy Rick-women, people! I have a few fringe candidates that I'm vetting.
ReplyDeleteAll this to say: Stay optimistic Rick Show nation. And stay tuned. I've got a number of ideas.
